Another Fabulous Thursday

Yes, I did leave my camera at the lake, so there are no pictures of this absolutely fabulous Thursday......but, we had so much fun today that it is worth writing about.
The morning began great, as we snoozed until 7:30! Margaret slept a full 12 hours last night! We woke up and pretend played--I was Guh-Guh and Marg was EO. This is a new one for us. EO and Guh-Guh enjoyed playing with babies and Strawberry Shortcake dolls (the old ones) for quite a while. We finally got up and had a nice breakfast then got dressed for the day. After dropping some books at the library, we headed straight for Mimi's house to pick up Madeline. We found that Mimi had taken excellent care of Madeline. Margaret was lucky enough to get to see her Gramps for a few minutes while he was home for lunch, and Mimi was very sweet and gave Marg some money to get a couple of new pretty outfits! Aren't grandparents GREAT!
Our great day continued with lunch at our favorite spot. Madeline was very well behaved at the table and sat in her high chair without fussing for the whole lunch! After lunch, we went to the park and were VERY excited to spot Megan (Margs "best friend") and her mom and brother at the picnic table! Margaret and Megan chased and climbed and slid and swung and had a blast! After the park, my little helper carried her grocery basket around the store and assisted with some shopping. We ended our outings by stopping by the library again to pick out some books--since we did not go in this am. Then the last treat of the day was Grandaddy coming over for play and supper.
Yes, it was REALLY a great day!
