Oh--the things she says.....
Margaret keeps me young with all the laughing that I do hearing the amazing things she comes up with!! The latest and greatest are:
-Margaret is such a sweet and thoughtful big cousin to Baby Olivia! When Olivia even wimpers, Margaret (without prompting) immediately breaks into song! Then she states, and she is usually right, "I made her feel better!" I have a video of this but don't know how to load it! HELP ASHLEY!!!!
-Margaret has stated many times lately that she is going to be a doctor when she grows up. Her career choice changes from a "people doctor" to an "animal doctor" depending on the day and her mood. Anyway, since both of us have been a little sick we have played people doctor lately--we use her tools from the vet set that Brad and Pam gave her for Christmas to listen to breathing and heartbeats, check temps, give vitamins and most fun of all--GIVE SHOTS! Anyway, we were playing on Tuesday and I was the patient with a hurt pinky finger. Our general routine is to talk like mommy and baby, then decide if we need to go the hospital, then the mommy turns into the doctor and so on....So as the doctor, Dr. Marg looked at my finger very seriously and then smiled and kissed it and said "You all better!"
-Last night, Margaret was singing a tune I thought I knew. I listened a little closer and heard her belting out "shake your BOOBIE" I asked her who taught her that song and she reported that EO did. I guess Melissa is closely associated with boobies these days, go figure! We figured out that Melissa does sing about shaking your "bootie" when getting out of the bath and drying off.
-The other weekend Margaret got home and I had baked a cake. Immediatly, she wanted the beater to lick. I explained that I had already washed it and she stated that "she was a little bit upset." She had a very pouty face and went to her room until she felt a little better. It is amazing how she works things out and tells us exactly what she is thinking!
If anyone that reads this can think of any other funny things that she has said, please send a comment. I am always telling people funny things but seem to forget them...I really want to try and keep up with it all so she can read it one day and we can enjoy it together.
