"Gandaddy can dive a DIGGER!"

Anyone who knows Margaret's fascination with trucks, trains, and really any construction equipment knows that seeing her "Gandaddy" on a "digger" was absolutely THRILLING for her! This pretty much made her weekend. She was pretty puny this weekend, with a runny nose and maybe a low fever--really she just was not herself. But she did feel well enough to go see Gandaddy on the digger. She perked up right when I told her he called and said he would be working with the "digger."
She stood in Gandaddy's truck and watched as he worked. I think she could have watched for hours! She was absolutely mesmerized. She kept asking what he was doing and talked about picking up the dirt and dumping the dirt. She wishes that Gandaddy had a dump truck too!

Marg was not so keen about getting out of my arms since she was not feeling so hot....I managed to sit her on the digger for a minute, because I know she will love to see the picture of herself on it later. She was not so excited! It was loud and she enjoyed it much more from a short distance!It was exciting to see the front and the back of the digger work. We watched as the back part dug up a big stump. Again, the kid really could have sat and watched for hours!Maybe she will be an architect or some sort of equipment designer someday??
