Never Wake a Sleeping Child!
Last night Margaret insisted upon sleeping in her "pumpkin shoes." She actually wanted some "back sandals" (navy blue strappy sandals that are some of her favorites) and I convinced her that they were too hard to wear in the bed. Anyway, after putting these on her feet, she went on to sleep. I do whatever works! Just before I went to bed, I remembered that I wanted to take a picture of her silly feet but did hesistate because I did not want to wake her up. The new camera has a night feature that makes her dark room look like daytime. It was not! These were taken just after 11pm. I guess the REALLY bright flash is what woke her up after I took the fifth picture. Yes, I got a bit carried away! =-)
Here are her sweet feet, when she was still sound asleep.
She started to wiggle a little but was still asleep. So I snapped a couple more.
She eventually started playing with her feet--still half asleep--and took the slippers off and sat them on either side of her head! I had to get this in a picture. This was the one that woke her up. She was a little confused about why I was in her room with the camera! She is not so happy when awakened from a deep sleep. I have learned my lesson about taking sleeping pictures--at least for now!
