A Ladies Brunch

Margaret and I got out VERY early the first morning of the trip. (She does not sleep so well in hotel rooms!) We were up around 5:30 and out of the room by around 7 or so! YIKES! Anyway, we made our way to the park and shopped around for much of the morning. By around 11, we were starved! We found a really pretty garden cafe (which turned out to be much nicer than I anticipated) and had brunch. Margaret was VERY well behaved. The very nice waitress brought Margaret some flowers to play with while we waited for our food and she promptly announced that we needed to save them and take them to Guh-Guh. I decided that a picture would be much more likely to get to Guh-Guh than the flowers!
Margaret and I talked and ate and had a great time at our Ladies brunch. It is really amazing how much she is growing up and how well behaved she is (most of the time anyway)! While we were waiting we started talking about birthdays. I asked Marg when her birthday was, expecting for her to say "I not know" and then we could talk about it. This is how it went about a week ago when we talked about birthdays. A week ago was the one and only time that I have really talked to her about the date of her birth. Anyway, to my surprise she answered "Apil tenty first" to my question. I almost fell out of my chair!
