Blowing Rock

We decided several months ago that Margaret and I would join Jonathan on a business trip in Blowing Rock. This was the weekend and we documented it with MANY pictures! Right when we got to the hotel, Margaret needed to check out the phone and pretend to call everyone she knows....as we were walking out to explore we heard the front desk lady say that someone had just called 911!! YIKES! We did not stay around to see if it was Marg who called!
We saw lots of really pretty flowers, butterflies, and buzzy bees as we walked around the garden. Margaret was quite impressed with a stream and water wheel that you can's see in this picture.

Next we ventured over to the park. It was a great park that was within walking distance of the hotel. Margaret and I spent LOTS of time there!
Making friends was lots of fun forMargaret. She met a little girl named Hannah and they immediately hit it off! Hannah taught Margaret how to swing on her tummy. She perfected the technique for the rest of the trip!!
