Oh--the things she says.....

I have not posted about some of the hilarious and amazing things that Margaret has said lately. Since we were crying as we ate supper tonight at what she was saying, I decided it was time to share.....
-Mom (Guh-Guh) made the mistake of telling Margaret that she was too old to go up the stairs one day and now anytime the word old comes up it is associated with Guh-Guh "Guh-Guh, you old?"
-Margaret is very affectionate. One day she was hugging and loving Guh-Guh and rubbing her face and stated "dis my Guh-Guh, she a yittle bit old."
-We have always told Margaret that she is only to throw balls to keep her from throwing things that she shouldn't. Tonight at supper, Mom threw a cucumber to the cat and Margaret quickly said "no Guh-Guh not throw cucumumber--that not ball"
-I have begun taking Margaret to a mother's morning out program to socialize her a bit. She is VERY mommy attached right now and cries when I leave her--it is really HARD and HEARTBREAKING for me! Anyway, today I asked if she had fun at "school" and she said "I jus cry a yittle bit. its ok." She is a such a sweet, sweet, tenderhearted child--hopefully she will get used to "school" soon!
-I tend to hit the brakes a bit quickly sometimes when I am driving. Nothing that would cause harm, but Margaret has started saying"YIKES" whenever she feels me even touch the brakes
-We are all very excited about the birth of Melissa's baby. This past week at the beach, after we had finished belly casting EO's (Melissa's) large belly, she kept asking "EO when your baby coming out?" "Is your baby coming out now?" After EO asked her when she thought it was coming out, Marg said, "probably Monday".....I guess we will see.
-As everyone knows, I love Jimmy Buffet. Yesterday, to distract Margaret while I was out, Jonathan told her a story about a Jimmy BUffet concert (YIKES-surely it was G-rated)but today she exclaimed out of the blue that "I go to Jimmy Buffet concern when I get older." Is she really two??
-This past week at the beach, Margaret had a playmate, Allison. All week she wanted to know where her "fend" (friend) was. They played together beautifully.
....more to come as I think ......
