While I was gone.....

Well, I left on Tuesday after work for the birth of the Collins twins. So, Jonathan and my mom were left in charge of my little monkey. I was gone for three nights (the longest I have ever been away from my girl) and there were some exciting developments when I got back. Mom was very diligent in writing everything down so I would not feel like I missed a thing!
On Wednesday morning Margaret woke up and said "I want Mama!" Guh-Guh reasured her by explaining that I was in Charleston with "tall Margaret" because she was going to have her babies. My Smarty stated, "She's in the hospital." Then she asked, "What tall monik's babies' names are?" Mom explained that she did not know yet because they weren't named yet. Margaret wanted to name one of the the babies "Anna" after Margaret and Traye's dog. On Thursday, Margaret woke up asking again about "tall Monik's babies' names?" She and mom practiced saying Elin and Ava--she is doing very well with the names and is looking forward to touching the babies' feet when they get home from the hospital.
The most exciting development while I was away was Margaret's progress in potty training. She has been wearing panties off and on for several months now, but only when she wants to. Mostly on Saturdays and Sundays and mostly just for fun. I did not want to stress her. Anyway, she has been much more interested lately in being a big girl. Starting on the Sunday before I left town, she was really into wearing panties all day. She did really well with only a few accidents. On Monday and Tuesday while I worked, she wore panties and did well telling the Guh-Guh when she needed to "potty." Mom took this progress and ran with it. Margaret has not worn a diaper, except when she is sleeping, since Monday!!! She has been doing GREAT and is SOOOOO proud of herself. We are so proud of her too! Again, she amazes me EVERYDAY!!
