Margaret Days
I have been inspired by Ashley Cuttino to create a blog to keep up with all that is going on in Margaret's life. Ashley has done a GREAT job keeping her family and friends involved in Grayson's life--I hope I can do as well as she has! Margaret is growing up so fast and changing daily--I thought this would be a great way to keep family and friends that are far away--and those who are not so far away--in the loop! So here goes......
Our most recent adventure was to Disney World. We left for this wild trip on Valetine's day and traveled with Melissa ("EO"), Elliott ("L"), and Mom ("Guh-Guh"). Margaret started the adventure off right by throwing up Blizzard from Dairy Queen all over her loving mother and car seat. She always keeps us on our toes! Anyway, she seemed fine by the time we FINALLY got to the hotel. We began our fun on Wednesday at the Magic Kingdom. We had a blast. I may go into detail in a later blog but for now we just had lots of fun. On Thursday, we returned to Magic Kingdom to return to some of the rides we loved and do the stuff we missed. Sadly, "L" had to go to work and could not join in the fun. We again had tons of fun and picked up "L" on our way back from the park. Margaret again threw up.....this gave us the clue that it may not have been the Dairy Queen icecream, but we kept our hopes up that she was not really sick. That evening, Margaret was fine--running, playing and very excited about seeing Animal Kingdom. So, we were brave--Friday we ventured into Animal Kingdom. It was amazing. We went on safari and saw beautiful animals. However, the threat of the VIRUS was coming to pass as I started feeling sick. We returned to the hotel early and by about 3pm I was SOOOOOO SICK!! Poor pregnant Aunti EO was the next victim. She began with the violent vomiting and poop Friday night. We decided on Saturday that we needed to go ahead and come home to avoid getting stuck in Orlando with the illness! Thank goodness we got back in time for Guh-Guh to get sick at her own house. Amazingly, "L" never got sick. Maybe all of that Lysol did work! My car stilll reaks of it---YUCK! Despite the few obstacles that came up--THE VICIOUS VIRUS--we had so much fun in Disney!! Thanks to Auntie EO and Uncle L who let us tag along on his business trip!
