MADELINE IS MISSING!!!!!!!!
Yes, we do have MANY events from the summer to catch up on posting....but this is DEFINATELY more urgent! Madeline is missing. Pictured to the left are two of he most recent photos of Madeline that we have. She traveled with Margaret to her Mimi's today then with us on a quick trip to the MD. Margaret has been a little bit of a monster lately and I wanted to make sure nothing was wrong before we continue with behavior mod stuff. All is fine--just trying threes and cutting of a HUGE molar.Anyway, back to Madeline.....she was with us when we left and for our next two stops. Margaret and one of my patients played with Madeline as we stopped just before getting back into St. Matthews. Before coming home, we stopped at mom's to feed her cats.
Then home, supper, bath---and we realized she was MISSING! Margaret insisted that she had left Madeline at Guh-Guh's house. So, despite the late hour, we ventured out to FIND her. As we drove, we called EO. Margaret described Madeline to EO so she could help us look (even though she was just on the phone): "she is wearing night, night clothes", "her hands are tight" (I think that means fisted and they really are), "her outfit goes down to her feet", "she does not have hair", "she has just a little bit of hair". OK so I am not sure what else she said. It was really funny and sad at the same time. She was a little frantic. What made it worse is Madeline was not at mom's house. Now, before we walked out the door for mom's I called my patient's house and asked her mom if she had seen Madeline--she said no. Upon returning home, Marg was pretty much beside herself. She really wanted to go back to C's house (the patient whose house she last remembers seeing her baby). SHe finally settled to fix Madeline some supper and leave it by the door. Just before going to her bed she said, "I hope Madeline will come back. But she can't even walk. Maybe somebody will bring her back to me." then, "I feel like I might cry, I want Madeline." She said this last one as her little chin quivered and she held back tears. What is a mama to do??? I am heartbroken for my poor heartbroken child! I called my patient's mom back again and she reported that she really had looked and did not see the baby doll. I have searched the house and the car AGAIN since Margaret went to sleep. It seems the the most loved baby in the world is REALLY missing and seems to have fallen off the face of the earth! If anyone sees or has heard from Madeline PLEASE let us know!!!!

This stinks! I hope that you find Madeline! Poor Margaret!
Hi Melanie & Margaret! I just caught up on your blog, and wanted to tell you that when I was about Margaret's age, I lost my FAVORITE, most loved, had her since I was born, baby-doll named Victoria. She was last seen in grocery store shopping cart! I remember being very frantic and having my Mom search high and low down the aisles of the store...we lived in Florida at the time. Anyway, I like to think that some other little girl needed Victoria more than me...but oh that was hard! :) Keep me posted and let me know if you find her! That story is too cute and brings back memories of other lost baby-dolls! Hope you both are well...I'm proud of Margaret for sending her hair to locks of love, so brave and kind! You're raising a darling girl.
Love,
Kimberly
