Locks of Love
She did it!! We have been talking for weeks and weeks about Margaret's haircut and she has been saying off and on that she wanted to mail her hair "to the sick children" (Locks of Love). She has also said that she only wanted a trim and that she loved her long hair. I can't fault her for being wishy-washy....she does get that honestly! Anyway, for the past two or three
days, she has been saying that she was getting 8 inches cut off! She was nervous this morning when she woke up and I reminded her that we were going to see Mr. Troy today. She made a perfectly scared face and said, "But mommy, I am scared of Mr. Troy!" I really think she could make it as an actress if I would have left her in LA with Auntie Em!! She laughed after being silly for a while and as you can see, she was all smiles when we arrived at the salon. The first two photos are before, while we were waiting. The many that follow are the play by play of the big event. Thanks Tracey for taking such great pictures! Margaret was delighted to paint as a reward for being such a sweet and generous girl after her haircut! What a "BIG DAY" we had!

After the initial cut, Mr. Troy had to shape up Margaret's new style and she GREAT about being still. Marg was a little unsure about the purple cape, but wore it after a little coaxing. She looks a little scared in this picture but she was really sweet and loving all of the oooooos and aahhs that she got as a few ladies peeked at her haircut.
