The Twins Have GROWN!!

My birthday trip this year was a long overdue visit to Charleston to visit Tall Margaret, Traye, Elin and Ava. The twins are at a really fun age to play and we had a ball with them. Tall Margaret and I were brave and ventured downtown to shop a little Margaret was intrigued with the trains at the Omni. After our little downtown stroll, we went to Norm's for lunch. There was a man selling Christmas trees in the lot--so we had to snap a picture.



Really we should have stopped while we were ahead......but NO we pressed our luck and ventured out again to see the lights at the park. BIG MISTAKE! Margaret had a nice time holding hands with Uncle Matthew, who met us there, but there was no REAL train and the lights were nice but not so baby friendly. Poor little Ava was a bit miffed by all the traffic on the way home. We will not make this trip (to the park) next year! However, we are looking forward to visiting Charleston and our favorite twins again soon!
